As the founder of Elevated Business, my goal is to help you to “Elevate” your business. Our primary focus is in how technology works for you. I cringe when I hear of someone manually entering data from one source on the computer to another. While the computer has aided business greatly, at least when we used paper, we had carbon copies. One of the first things we look at with our clients is: How do we put carbon paper into your computer? What I mean is taking information from one source and sending it on to the next place you need it without hand entering that same information again – even better than a carbon copy.
Let me alleviate the fear some people have when hearing this (I have been asked this very question); “Are you eliminating my job” or “Are you replacing me with a computer”? No, I am freeing people up to do what people do best and taking away the tedium by making the computer do what it does best. Computers follow rules and processes set down for them. People make decisions. People provide the best interaction with customers, but that can be made better yet by having good support and data from a computer.
